About The Sheep Shack, a note from Christina
I opened the Sheep Shack on
June 4, 2003. Since opening, I have had many delighted
customers say "I am so glad you are here!" and "I haven't knit
in years and I want to start up again". Their enthusiasm is
overwhelming for the shop and I am very thankful for
the reception I have received.
I have been knitting since I was a child and it
has been a dream of mine to have my own knit shop; to share my
love of the craft with others. Having frequented many yarn
shops, I know what service, selection, and atmosphere have to
do with the whole experience and I have tried to make The
Sheep Shack an inviting, informal, informative and fun place
to shop, knit or just get help!
I believe everyone can knit and not just
simple things! Many people think they don't have time to knit,
but if you have time to watch TV, you have time to knit!
Passenger in a car? Waiting at the Doctor's office? Take the
train to work? Time to knit. Today's projects are portable,
exciting, and a joy to create! Beginners and experts alike can
enjoy hats, scarves, mittens and socks. These all make
wonderful gifts and knit up in no time at all. Don't forget
baby booties for those little feet! Fast, adorable, and fun.
